Terms and Conditions – Uncover the Code Competition
Organiser Information:
The ‘competition’ is organised by Kortext Ltd.
Eligibility:
Participation in this competition is exclusively open to university students currently enrolled at Arden University for the academic year 2025/26. Only one entry per student is allowed.
Entry Requirements:
To enter the competition, students must submit their details (first name, last name and university email address) on the page uncover-the-code.kortext.com/arden/register/ and complete the challenge by submitting the final code. To complete the challenge, students must follow the instructions and collect clues within the Kortext study platform to decode the anagram.
Entry Deadline:
The deadline for entering the competition is on Wednesday, 10th December 2025 at 11:59pm.
Selection Criteria:
The selection of the winner will be conducted through a random draw from eligible entries. To qualify, students must successfully complete the instructions within the Kortext study platform and submit the final answer alongside their university email address. The participants’ activities within the platform will be reviewed to meet the competition criteria.
Prize:
The selected winner will be rewarded with £250. Once a winner has been selected, Kortext will contact the person directly to arrange payment.
Notification of Winners:
The winner will be communicated via email within 7 days of the competition end date. In the event of non-response within 7 days, an alternate winner will be selected.
Kortext’s decision as to who wins is final.
Publicity:
By participating in this competition, entrants grant Kortext the right to utilise their names and entries for promotional purposes.
Intellectual Property:
All intellectual property rights to the submissions are owned by Kortext.
Disqualification Criteria:
Participants failing to complete the required tasks within the Kortext study platform will be subject to disqualification.
Liability:
Kortext Ltd, as the organiser, absolves itself of liability for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants, emphasising the need for responsible and considerate participation throughout the duration of the competition.
Privacy Policy and Website Terms and Conditions:
Participants’ information will be collected, used, and protected in accordance with Kortext’s Privacy Policy and Website Terms and Conditions.
Modification or Termination:
Kortext reserves the right to modify or, if necessary, terminate the competition at any juncture, upholding the highest standards of fairness and integrity.
